I’m Ismail Habibi, a product designer from Nashville living in the New York City area. I have designed in a variety of domains, from consumer-facing mobile apps and enterprise internal tools to augmented and virtual reality interfaces.

My design journey began at Dartmouth, where I studied philosophy and human-centered design. Although these may seem like entirely separate fields, the combination of the two has been foundational in informing the way I think about my work. For example, ethics is something that I am constantly considering when designing; this consideration for the downstream impacts of my work has been integral in guiding my decisions to design for education, healthcare, and solar energy. There are a lot of other parallels I've noticed between philosophy and design -- you can read about some of those observations here.

I’m interested in all sorts of things, and I’m always open to chat! Email me about anything at all at serkhail@gmail.com. Looking forward to hearing from you!
